More Baking Soda and Vinegar

Make a vinegar volcano and a monster with baking soda & vinegar.

Skills: fine motor skills, imagination
You need: baking soda, food coloring, vinegar, detergent, play dough, small bottle
Age: 2-4 years

What you need:

• baking soda
• food coloring
• vinegar
• detergent
• play dough
• small bottle

What to do:

Make a monster from an empty plastic bottle. Put some vinegar in the bottle. Add some detergent and shake the bottle.

Put 1 tbsp. of a baking soda in the bottle and watch what happened.

Try it with the food coloring.

Another experiment is to make a volcano. Make a 'cone' from the play dough. Put 2 tbsp. of baking soda into the well of the volcano.

Add vinegar to watch it erupt
